Gayatri mantra

Inspired by the Summer Solstice celebrations and the investigation of the Gayarti Mantra  going on at the Belzebuub Teachings forums, I decided too, to dedicate this week investigating it. So far, so good! It has brought new life to my spiritual quest and has gotten me back on track with my practices. I hope I can keep it up and practice it in the mornings.

Below are the versions I have tried:

The first one

And the second one, with a happier rhythm to it.

This explanation  has also given me further insight to its meaning and helped me with my investigation.

I wish everyone all the best with your investigations and spiritual practices.

Even more videos of Practitioners’ experiences

More videos from practitioners of  Belzebuub teachings who wish to speak about their experiences, how these teachings changed their lives and why they choose to practice them.

Students experience with Belzebuub

It is nice to see the supporters of Belzebuub standing up and saying their personal experiences. This clearly shows that they are not zombies or robots as they have been described, but responsible human beings who can very well talk for them selves. It also proves that to every story there are two sides. It is about time, that the side of the practitioners of Belzebuub’s teachings is heard for a change. You can also see these and other videos as well at the Belzebuub Teachings Blog

Favourite quotes on spirituality

Here are some of my favourite quotes from Mahatma Ghandi and Victor Hugo. These two men have shared some very deep thoughts on spirituality that have inspired me many times, specially these days when Belzebuub and his supporters are being attacked. I picked out a few that speak to my heart concearning theis matters.

Mahatma Ghandi quotes

“First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.”

“An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it.”

“Be the change you want to see in the world.”

“The most heinous and the most cruel crimes of which history has record have been committed under the cover of religion or equally noble motives”

Victor Hugo quotes

“There are thoughts which are prayers. There are moments when, whatever the posture of the body, the soul is on its knees.”

“It is by suffering that human beings become angels.”

“Society is a republic. When an individual tries to lift themselves above others, they are dragged down by the mass, either by ridicule or slander.”

“There is in every village a torch – the teacher; and an extinguisher – the clergyman”

Videos from Belzebuub on love

What is true love? Why are our relationships so flawed? Why, while we love our friends and family, do we hurt them or get into fights?
Here are some videos of Belzebuub speaking about love. He gives a very good explanation about how things work and how we can achieve real love towards one another.

Freedom of Speech

When I was in high school I came to a painful, at the time, realization that not everybody liked me. In fact there probably weren’t that many people who did like me. But this is how high school is for everyone. However this realization, though not made through esoteric work, changed me. It set me free. Free from trying to fit in, free from pretending to be something I was not. At the end of the day these people where entitled not to like me and I was entitled not to care.

Years have gone by and I find myself again not being liked. This time I am not being liked because I chose to stand up for what I believed and support Belzebuub, the Spiritual Teacher who changed my life. For this, I have been threatened and called names all over the internet, received emails, also sent to unknown recipients, with details of my personal life, more name calling and horrid lies about me. All this in the name of Freedom of speech!

But is this really “Freedom of speech”? See, as I see it, Freedom of speech, would be if these people sent an email or ever wrote a post in their “hate site” saying “look I don’t Eleni, never did, just thought I’d put it out there”, I would also accept some legitimate reasons why, for example: “she is to self centered, has a big idea of herself, talks too much, too loud” Something.. As I said, I have come to terms with such a reality and it does not bother me in the least, they are entitled to an opinion, even if I don’t like it. But this is not the case. The site these people created is full of hatred and false gossip and is far from supporting anyone’s freedom.

I believe great harm can be caused to a person, by bullies hiding their ill intentions behind a supposed “Freedom of Speech”. Harassment, disclosure of personal information, slander should not be tolerated just because some people wave a catchy phrase in the air.

Spiritual Freedom

How would you feel, if one Sunday morning, you woke up to go to church and found the door locked and vandals inside telling you, you cannot come here again ?

How would you feel, if you saw the most horrible things, written all across the internet about the spiritual teacher of your faith?

Well this is what happened to us.

Belzebuub is a spiritual teacher who describes the path to enlightenment.  The way to change as a human being, to become better.  He doesn’t describe a theory, but specific practices with tangible results.

I, along with many others, have followed his practices and seen real change in my life. My relationship with my family has improved, I am a calmer person and have shed away many of the insecurities I used to have. His teachings are not about masking or hiding our inner defects  but getting rid of them completely. This has helped so many people, who wish only to continue practicing these teachings.

Whether one wishes to practice Belzebuubs teachings or not, it should be respected that some people do. This is all we ask for. We ask to be left in peace.  We ask for these people to stop spreading vicious lies about our spiritual teacher and stop insulting us left right and center.
